President's Message
Dear Sisters of the Auxiliary,
I am overwhelmed with joy and humbled by the attendance at our monthly meetings. IT IS NOT OVER YET! I need your full cooperation and attendance to end this Columbian year successfully in benefiting our charities. PLEASE join us at The Fashion Show, Lady of the Year, The Charity Game Show Membership Drive, Memorial Day Parade Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness, Installation Dinner & 65th Anniversary, Memorial Mass and finally the St. Anthony's Feast. For May's meeting come prepared with information to present the membership with a charity of your choice. Join us as we celebrate the 2017-2018 Lady of the Year and May Crowning. I look forward to putting my dancing shoes on and dancing the night away with you! There will be Bylaws available to you at this meeting.

Programming: May Membership Meeting
Meeting will start at 7:00PM – Tuesday May 1st 2018 LADY OF THE YEAR DINNER AND THE MAY CROWNING OF OUR BLESSED MOTHER: Lady of the Year Dinner cost is $25 Per Person then to follow the Crowing Of Our Blessed Mother. We are having a delicious family style dinner, soda, dessert and CASH bar. Bring your dancing shoes as we celebrate the night away. You have to be in good standing to attend. If you have not paid your dues, please call Pat Feely, Financial Secretary 516-764-5442. A headcount for dinner is required no later than April 26, 2018. PAYMENTS will NOT be accepted the night of the meeting. Tuesday, May 1st 2018. Our meeting will begin promptly at 7:00PM followed by 65th Anniversary Celebration & Lady-of-the-Year award presentation. We will have a family style dinner at $25.00 per person. If you have not paid your dues, please call Pat Feely, Financial Secretary 516-764-5442. A headcount for dinner is required prior to the event; all payments for dinner must be paid by 4/23/18. NO PAYMENTS will be accepted the night of the meeting. A current membership list will be at the door that evening for sign-in, showing paid members only.
MONDAY MAY 28th: We will meet at 7:45am in the Towers Funeral Home Parking lot. All members and their family are encouraged to join the walk in unity! Show your support and WEAR your "Daisies for Debbie Garden of Opportunity T-Shirts." Together we support BREAST CANCER awareness for all our members, friends and family who have been effected. May 31, 2018 doors open at 6:45 p.m. - Be part of the fun and prizes at our final multipurpose event, a mix of 'Price is Right' and 'Let's Make a Deal!' It's geared towards: 1) Thanking the membership 2) Increasing membership initiative 3) Last attempt at raising funds. So "Come on down" Let's have fun & try to win prizes. As part of a membership drive for members in good standing the cost for this event is $10.00pp. This event is open for your family and friends at $25.00pp, as a onetime opportunity for ONLY new members and if approved, your guest will be eligible to use part of this payment to cover dues for year 2018-2019. This event is open for EVERYONE. June 5th 2018 7:00PM Sharp All members in good standing please join us for the Installation of the 2018-2019 Officers immediately following the beautiful traditional robed candlelight ceremony. We will dine and also celebrate our 65th Anniversary with a surprise program! Semi-formal attire suggested as the cameras will be capturing our finest moments. RSVP a must with a $20.00 exact change reservation fee by May 15; fee will be reimbursed to you at dinner. Co-Chair Past Presidents Jane and Audrey will be collecting reservations at the May meeting/ LOTY Dinner. Knights and guest are invited to the dinner at $25.00 pp non-refundable. Any member 80 years of age and above as of September 8th 2015 will be considered a "Lifetime Member" and your dues will be waived. You must provide proof to the President to receive your Lifetime Membership pocket Card.
Let’s keep Elenor Mallery and Al Larsen in our prayers may they have a quick recovery. If you know of a member that is sick or has had a recent death in the family please notify Michelle Ciardulli Cell: 516-507-9570.

ANNUAL MEMORIAL MASS – Date to be announced join in remembering our deep departed brothers and sisters by a beautiful mass celebrated at our council.
