President's Message
Dear Ladies of the Auxiliary,
Time flies when you are having fun! Thank you for all your support in joining and volunteering at all of the traditional events. The Ladies Auxiliary is a wonderful unity! I look forward to walking with each and every one of you in the "Memorial Day Parade." Please wear your "Daisies for Debbie Garden of Opportunity T-shirts;" every member who attends the parade will receive a special gift. When you attend the Charity Game Show/Membership Drive - the last fundraiser this year- bring the special gift with you and you will be entered to win a Super Grand Prize at no additional cost to you! Our auxiliary brings joy to people lives in more ways than one. Please bring your family and friends to our last fundraiser in effort to increase our membership. In addition, please make a great effort to support our new officers at June's Installation. Finally, Congratulations to the new Executive Officers for Columbian year 2018-2019. It has been a humbled privilege to serve as your President.

MEMORIAL DAY PARADE, MONDAY MAY 28th
We will meet at 7:45am in the Towers Funeral Home Parking lot. All members and their family are encouraged to join the walk in unity! Show your support and WEAR your "Daisies for Debbie Garden of Opportunity T-shirts." Together we support BREAST CANCER awareness for all our members, friends and family who have been affected. Dear Ladies – I would like to thank each and everyone for all the support rendered during my tenure as Vice President throughout this seasons fundraising activities. The Fashion Show was a Hugh success thanks to all of you! The CHARITY GAME SHOW MEMBERSHIP DRIVE is quickly approaching. We look forward to seeing everyone there! THE CHARITY GAME SHOW MEMBERSHIP DRIVE May 31, 2018 doors open at 6:45 p.m.
Be part of the fun and prizes at our final multipurpose event, a mix of 'Price is Right' and 'Let's Make a Deal!' It's geared towards: 1) Thanking the membership 2) Increasing membership initiative 3) Last attempt at raising funds. So "Come on down." Let's have fun & try to win prizes. As part of a membership drive for members in good standing the cost for this event is $10.00pp. This event is open for your family and friends at $25.00pp, as a one-time opportunity for ONLY new members and if approved, your guest will be eligible to use part of this payment to cover dues for year 2018-2019. This event is open for EVERYONE. Installation of Officers & Celebrating 65th Anniversary
June 5th 2018 7:00 PM Reservations a must- a $20.00 deposit to hold your reservation is required by May 21st Deadline. Your reservation deposit money for members in good standing will be returned to you during the dinner June 5th. You must pay $25.00 for any guests that you are bringing to the event- money due also by May 21st. Separate checks made to "Ladies auxiliary Council #3481" Attention Jane Magno D'Anna, PP would be appreciated as your money will be refunded to you and your guests' payments will be deposited. A very special program has been planned for the evening; be part of the action and fun, but you must be there!!!! Get your reservation made now!!!! Summer Crafter Project fabric floral wreath
Calling all crafter's - special summer project: we are having a competition - who of you can create the most fabulous fabric floral wreath? Instructions and fabric provided at no charge to serious crafter's. September’s membership meeting we will have the contestants' reveal their creations and the members will vote. The Annual FEAST starts Thursday, June 7th – Sunday, June 10th – Come and join the FUN!
Pennies for Pampers Dollars for Diapers summer challenge
Please be sure to save your pennies for this worthy cause of helping mother's in need provide their babies with clean diapers as needed. Please be sure to take home cello bags provided at our June's membership meeting. Do not roll pennies. Put your name on the bag/container, as I will be giving a prize to the most generous donor when I collect your donations at the September membership meeting. Good Luck. BINGO! - Every Wednesday Starts at 6pm. It's all for charity! Winnings over $4,000 paid each week!
KOTY (Knight of the Year) BREAKFAST – Sunday, June 3rd – 10:30 am Mass in St. Anthony's Chapel – Immediately followed by our ceremony and brunch in Grand Hall O'Connell Gardens. ANNUAL MEMORIAL MASS – Date to be announced join in remembering our deep departed brothers and sisters by a beautiful mass celebrated at our council.

A message from the Corresponding Secretary, Janet Calderon
It has been my pleasure serving this committee for the past two years as Corresponding Secretary and rendering the "Point to Ponder" in the Newsletter. I'm moving on to Recording Secretary and leave you all in good hands with my successor Kim Marchetti. Have a wonderful summer; but before I say, "I'll see you in September," there is still some work to get done! Let's continue our mission to pay it forward by attending "The Charity Game Show," our last effort to raise funds before this season ends as well as say "Thank You" for being part of a group of Catholic women who are committed to serving the community.
