President's Message
Dear Ladies,
Dear Ladies, What a way to usher in the spring season than with the Highly Coveted Lady of the Year Award Celebration. It was truly an amazing night. PP Lisa James, it was my honor to name you Lady of the Year 2023-2024. Your dedication, devotion and love of our Ladies Auxiliary was of the highest level and helped us get to where we needed to go. I wanted to acknowledge the fact that this is your last year on the Auxiliary Board, and we thank you for your years of service and support. I also give the utmost thanks to our Board Members for doing such a fantastic job this year. I also give high recognition to all the Auxiliary members for your attendance and undying support which made this year a success. It has also been a great privilege to have been the Ladies Auxiliary President for a second time. It was a lot of work and I Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Come this September, I will start my new position on the board as a 3-year trustee. I leave you in great hands with our New incoming President Elect Lina Fusco who will further guide us.

I would like to extend a special thank you to the Board and membership for their generosity and support throughout the 2023/2024 year. Your willingness to give time and service is greatly appreciated. Your support of the Ladies Auxiliary allows us to continue to fulfill our mission and serve people in our community each year. MEMBERSHIP MEETING
Join us Tuesday, June 4 for our membership meeting beginning promptly at 6:45pm followed by the Installation of Auxiliary Officers for the year 2024/2025 at 7:30pm. The cost for members in good standing will be $30. This includes dinner with dessert, soda/coffee/tea. There will be a cash bar for adult beverages. MEMORIAL DAY PARADE
Attention all members in good standing. Please join us in our Memorial Day Parade March in patriotic pride. As a group representing the Ladies Auxiliary of the Father Joseph O’Connell Council #3481, Knights of Columbus. We meet at 9:00AM in the parking lot of TOWERS FUNERAL HOME and end at Oceanside High School for the Memorial Day Ceremony and Celebration.

MEMBERSHIP DUES 2024/2025
Books for dues are closed for 2023/2024. Starting August 1,2024 please see Financial Secretary, Amy Bermudez, PP with your annual $20.00 membership dues for the 2024/2025 Auxiliary year. Membership dues may be paid at membership meetings or by mail. Please make your $20.00 check payable to Ladies Auxiliary and write your phone number on the check. If you are paying by mail, please mark the envelope ATTN: Amy Bermudez, PP, FS, and mail to KofC #3481, 2985 Kenneth Place Oceanside, NY 11572. Please remember to include a stamped, self-addressed envelope so your card can be mailed back to you. Membership dues need to be paid by December 1, 2024, to be considered a member in good standing. If we did not receive your membership dues for 2023/2024, you are in jeopardy of being removed from membership and mailing list (see By-Laws Article IX-Dues). LIFETIME MEMBER 2024/2025
If you were 80 years old by September 6, 2024, you will be considered a "Lifetime Member", and your dues will be waived. You must provide proof of age to Amy Bermudez, PP, FS at

FRATERNAL ASSISTANCE
If there is a Sister in need of Financial Assistance through our Fraternal Assistance Program, all proposals must be submitted in writing. For more info, contact Financial Secretary Amy Bermudez, PP at
